08.05. 2004 - the first German intermediaries receive their European Certificates

first German intermediariesOn 8 May, 2004 the first German intermediaries receive their European Certificates from the hands of Thomas Kramer of the BWV The German Versicherungsakademie (DVA -German Academy of the Insurance Industry) ran a special in house course to support the graduates on their way to the degree of the “Financial Adviser” (eficert)”.

The first successful DVA seminar graduates saw various benefits in their new qualificaqtions and had interesting views of the future in the European financial advice and planning fields.
Here are just a few of their comments:

  • „I am quite sure that eficert has the potential to become the most important organisation for financial advisers and financial planners in Europe.“ (Martin Sturm)
  • „As Europe is increasingly growing together individuals, are well-advised to prepare themselves accordingly.“ (Walter Meier)

NOTE:
Berufsbildungswerk der Deutschen Versicherungswirtschaft Vocational Training Association of the German Insurance Industry) offers courses and qualifications at various levels which help individuals develop their careers in the financial services sector in Germany. The courses and qualifications offered alongside the Financial Adviser (eficert) courses include:

  • intermediary education titled “Versicherungsfachmann/-fachfrau (BWV) (= Financial Expert (BWV)”, and
