Financial Competence Framework for Adults in the European Union
The European Union and the OECD have published in January 2022 a guideline to financial literacy. Financial literacy refers to a combination of financial awareness, knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours necessary to make sound financial decisions and ultimately achieve individual financial well-being . The objective of the EU/OECD-INFE financial competence framework for adults is to promote a shared understanding of financial competences for adults amongst Member States and national authorities, educational institutions, industry and individuals.
